Blog Update: German Grand Prix 2010
One of the most controversial wins of the season went to Fernando Alonso at Hockenheim, which leads him 34 points behind the leader Lewis Hamilton in the drivers championship. The Spaniard’s victory however was tarnished by reports of coded team orders being given ot Felipe Massa. The championship however is heating up with 5 drivers all within 34 points of each other. Lewis Hamilton is still leading the championship but is being closesly chased by Button, Weber, Vettel and Alonso. With only 8 races left in this season, the championship is still to be contested.

Blog Update: Chinese Grand Prix 2010
British racing was at its best this weekend, with the first British 1-2 since Irvine and Coulthard in 1999. Button and Hamiltion drove to impress this weekend and took risks others didnt, and it paid off with the podium position for Button.
Button now leads the championship, by 10 points with Hamilton chasing behind in 4th place 11 points behind. With a 3 week break until the F1 season hits European soil, preparations are in place for the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona.

Blog Update: Malaysian Grand Prix 2010
Red Bull triumpantly overcame their reliability issues as they headed a one-two in Malaysia. After the two disappointing races of Bahrain and Australia, Vettel found fighting form and overtook team mate Mark Webber to win the race.
British boys Hamilton and Button finished 6th and 8th. With Button now 4th in the Championship, and only 4 points behind the leader Massa, there is all still to drive for.

Blog Update: Bahrain Grand Prix 2010
Bahrain saw the first championship points go to Alonso, with a superb Ferrari one-two. With Hamilton benefitting from Vettel’s spark plug failure, to gain third place, this just goes to show that this season’s championship race is going to be an exciting and action packed ride!
With Schumacher’s first race after his retirement three years ago, the seven time world champion showed promise finishing 6th, however he could not keep up pace with team mate Rosberg in the early stages of the race and spent the later holding off the ever faster Button.
This races shows evidence that it is going to be a tough struggle for Button to hold on to his title, with Mclaren not showing signs of being able to match the pace of either Ferraris or Red Bulls.

Once again BAC Sport was one of the UK’s leading tour operators at the Champions league Final, this time being held in Madrid. Like last year in Rome the sun was shining but for the first time since 2004 there was no representative from the English Premier League. BAC Sport’s clients enjoyed some of Madrid’s finest hotels and some superb hospitality at the stadium and we are very much looking forward to the Champions League Final coming to the new Wembley stadium in 2011!
We will of course be supplying hotel rooms in London as well as hospitality packages for the Final. Contact the sales team for more information on 020 7 456 7100.
