Meet The Team
THE BAC SPORT KEY PERSONNEL
David Pearson – Managing Director
David has been at BAC Sport for 10 years. He has over 25 years of experience in the travel business and has worked in most areas of the sector, including Business Travel, Conference and Incentives, Aircraft Chartering, Financial Roadshows and Tour Operations. He has been managing logistics for the England Football Media since 1986. One of his key roles was working for the FA as Airports’ Manager EURO’96 where he planned and managed the arrivals at all UK airports for Teams, Officials and VIPs.
James Savage – Sales Manager
James has worked in the sports hospitality sector for nearly 10 years. He first started in America working on the Superbowl, The Fiesta Bowl, The Phoenix Open and The Tradition before working for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Suns and the Arizona Cardinals. For the past 5 years James has been working for BAC Sport and has been heavily involved in all major Football Championships, Formula 1, Ryder Cups, World Championship Boxing and a wide array of other great sporting events. James is very passionate about all sports and has first hand experience of most hospitality facilities in the UK and overseas.
Karen Pasquill – Special Events Coordinator
Karen has worked for BAC Sport for 14 years since its inception and has become our France specialist. During World Cup 1998, she was responsible for overseeing the running of our hospitality venue Les Salons Wilson at St. Denis which we used for every match in Paris and where sponsors and celebrities were entertained throughout the tournament. Nice and the Riviera are very familiar to her as she is the main coordinator for our headline event, the Monaco Grand Prix. She also devised the hospitality and travel programme for Hyundai (UK) Ltd during Euro 2004 and again for the World Cup in 2006 along with Toshiba.
Tom Miller – Senior Sales Executive
Having worked for BAC Sport at both Euro 2004 and the World Cup in Germany in 2006, Tom joined the team on a permanent basis in 2007 having previously been involved in events for the oil and gas industry. Tom is a closet Liverpool Fan and is the oracle in the office regarding sporting trivia, much to James’ annoyance, so feel free to call in and put him to the test anytime.
Brian Scott – Football Media Manager
Brian has been with BAC Sport since Euro 2004 where he was charged with managing the England Football Media Overseas. Having 20 years experience working within the FA culminating in a role as Team Travel Manager for the National side there is little Brian does not know about overseas football programmes. His attention to detail combined with his vast experience means he is always able to provide service above and beyond the call of duty.
