The Open Golf Championship 2012
The 141st Open Championship will take place at the Royal Lytham & St Annes, is one of the greatest link courses in the world. Host to 10 Open Championships and 2 Ryder Cups, and numerous other major tournaments. It is very fitting that the Open should return to Lytham in the year after the marvellous Seve Ballesteros passed away, one of his favourite courses.
The 2011 Open champion was Irishman Darren Clark, his first major win after more than 20 years and 54 attempts!
